The defining feature of the Ultra Flex is its four individually connected buckle sections. Each stainless steel roller buckle is positioned on a separate padded leather tab and can align independently. This allows the front and rear girth billets to be adjusted and tightened separately on both sides.
This construction accommodates the natural shape of the horse’s body, which is often narrower towards the front than farther back. Different billet angles and settings can be balanced without pulling the entire contact area into a rigid position.
